We ended 2017 with a very strong real estate market, a stock market up 25%, and a new tax plan that limits the write off of expenses. We are experiencing more and more inquiries from high taxed states in the northeast as well as California. Buyers are acting more quickly and homes are closing closer to asking prices.
There were 109* residential single-family home sales in 2017, 9 of which sold for $20,000,000 or more. The two largest residential sales were off market, both direct ocean front estates on Billionaire’s Row:
